Callum Connolly has been drafted into the England Under-21s squad ahead of the Toulon Tournament that begins on Saturday.

Aidy Boothroyd had previously named Everton trio Jonjoe Kenny, Kieran Dowell and Tom Davies in his squad, but has now added the full-back to take his Toffees quota to four.

Connolly, 20, has just returned from a season on loan at Championship side Ipswich Town, where he made 36 appearances.

England face China on Saturday (kick-off 2pm), before squaring off against Mexico and Qatar on 29 May and 1 June respectively.
